VALERIO DEL BAGLIVO vs. ANDRIS BRINKMANIS March 24, 7 pm

Il 24 marzo Radical Intention invita Valerio Del Baglivo e Andris Brinkmanis a discutere sullo spazio educativo come possibile spazio rivoluzionario, luogo del sapere alternativo e del sapere libero. Attivando una riflessione su nuove forme di assimilazione intellettuale e strategie artistiche che riflettono sul tema, il talk tenta di individuare metodologie inedite nei contesti educativi.

— Valerio Del Baglivo (1979, Roma) è curatore indipendente e  vive e lavora a Milano. Negli ultimi anni ha lavorato presso lo IUAV di Venezia come assistente alla didattica di Carlos Basualdo e collaborato con l’associazione no-profit Connecting Cultures (Milano).

— Andris Brinkmanis (1978, Riga) è critico e curatore indipendente e vive e lavora tra Milano e Venezia. Dal 2008 fa parte dello staff della Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti – NABA di Milano in qualità di assistente di Marco Scotini. Ha collaborato con le riviste Studija, Cultural Forums e fa parte del team editoriale della rivista No Order. Art in a Postfordist society.

On March 24th, Radical Intention invites Valerio Del Balgivo and Andris Brinkmanis to discuss the educational space as being revolutionary, as an alternative place of learning and free knowledge. By activating a discussion on new forms of intellectual assimilation and experimental artistic strategies in the field, the focus of the talk will be on strategies in comprehension methodology within the educational space.


— Valerio Del Baglio (1979, Rome) is an independent curator who lives and works in Milan. In recent years he has worked at IUAV of Venice as a teaching assistant for Carlos Basualdo and collaborated with the non-profit association Connecting Cultures (Milan).

— Andris Brinkmanis (Riga, 1978) is an art critic and independent curator and lives and works between Milan and Venice. From 2008 he is part of the staff of the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti – NABA in Milan as assistant to Marco Scotini. He has collaborated with the magazines such as Studija, Cultural Forums and is member of the editorial team of the magazine No Order. Art in a Postfordist Society.
